Whispering Pine Cabin (cabin #82) was built by Guy Norman of Hallsville just up the road from our campground. A wrap around porch is the first thing you will notice when driving up to the cabin. The porch is great for getting away from the elements when needed. When you open the front door you will feel the openness from the large double windows that were used in building Whispering Pine. The leather furniture and stainless steel appliances give an upscale feel to this warm and cozy cabin. The items used for decorating came from various people and places including my late mother-n-law, Mary Ann Rogers (Granny). The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, coffee maker, toaster, blender, full size double door refrigerator, microwave, gas range, & dish washer but since we are new to the cabin rental business please let us know if something is missing. Whispering Pine Cabin has a bar with 4 counter height bar stools for enjoying those meals whether cooked inside or outside. The sofa table also doubles as an eating table by lifting the top up and toward the sofa to make a comfortable place to eat. The living area has 2 ceiling fans for staying comfortable in hot and cold weather. The queen sized bedroom is roomy and comfortable with twin night stands and a large closet. The ceiling fan and the comfortable mattress will aid in getting a good night’s sleep. The bathroom has a shower and plenty of room for getting ready. A narrow but roomy 2nd bedroom has a set of built in bunk beds at one end. At the other end is a computer desk and in the middle is a closet. The cabin has a Sony LED TV and Sony DVD player. The TV is connected to Direct TV HD with over 200 channels for you to enjoy during your stay. Outside you have a picnic table, charcoal grill, fire ring, and some fire wood for roasting marshmallows. Whispering Pines has a large Sundance hot tub / spa located on the back porch where you can relax whenever you want.
